Wilton T. Pogue

Funeral services for Wilton T. Pogue, 78, of Montgomery, who died at Crowne Health Care in Montgomery, Friday, March 23, 2007, will be at 4 p.m. today at Clay County Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Allen officiating.

Burial will follow at Clay County Memory Gardens in Ashland with full military honors with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be from 3 until 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Nannie Pogue; brother, Carl Pogue; sister, LaJune Pogue; and two sons, Thomas and Kelly Pogue.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Annelle Pogue of Montgomery; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda (Jim) McKleroy of Oxford and Virginia and Robert Allen of Montgomery; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Terri Pogue of Wetumpka; five grandchildren, Gena McKleroy, Amber (Chris) Robinson, Amy Allen, Lorian Pogue and Alexandra Pogue; great-grandson, Reed Robinson; brother, Raymond Pogue and wife Betty; sisters, Irene Riley and Anita (Armin) Doss; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Pruitt, Harold Thompson, Carl Chandler, Eddie Clark, Glen Smith and Sam Blakely.

Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Alabama Chapter, 3918 Montclair, Suite 201, Birmingham, AL 35213, in memory of Kelly Pogue.
