Asa J. Anderson

Funeral services for Asa J. Anderson, 90, of Brundidge, who died at his home Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hamilton Crossroads Church of Christ in Brundidge with Minister Elisha Freeman officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Irene Anderson of Brundidge; children, Wayne and Linda Anderson of New Mexico, Bill Anderson of Texas, Linda and Eldon Dodds of Texas, Jean and Jack Whitehead of Brundidge, Earl and Sharron Dodds of Ohio, Terry Lee Dodds of Georgia and Sandra and Jim Hayes of Tennessee; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, T.A. and Cloe Anderson of Italy; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

for Mary Frances Edwards, 85, of Troy, who died Jan. 15, 2007, at Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with the Rev. Bo Weed officiating.

Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

She is survived by nieces, Becky Bassett of Troy and Virginia (Jimmy) Bowen of Oxford; nephews, Tommy (Susan) West of Montgomery, Jimmy Lewis of Troy and Danny Stevens of Mobile.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bowen, Tommy West, Jimmy Lewis, Christopher Smith, Fletcher Reaves and Thomas West.

Willie C. Dubose

Funeral services for Willie C. Dubose will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the George F. Grubbs Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Walter Still officiating.

Burial will be at New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Linwood under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home.

Mr. Dubose was born on May 1, 1947, in Pike County to Leroy and Fannie C. Dubose.

He attended Pike County Schools. His father and two brothers, Terry Dubose and Tommie Lewis Dubose, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his mother, Fannie C. Dubose of Troy; five brothers, Johnny Lee (Dorothy Jean) Dubose of Montgomery, Robert Lee Dubose, J.W. Dubose, Milton (Mary) Dubose and Roy Dubose, all of Troy; two uncles, John Henry (Dianne) Scott and Willie Lee Scott, both of Troy; two aunts, Rosia Lee Scott and Katie Potts, both of Troy; a sister-in-law, Gertha Mae Dubose of Troy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are family and friends, and flower bearers are his nieces.
