Wayne Hamilton Stubbs

Funeral services for Wayne Hamilton Stubbs, 63, of Troy, who died at his home Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dillard Funeral Home with Dr. Malone Chandler and the Rev. Royce Richards officiating.

Burial will follow at Hinson Cemetery in Troy.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Stubbs was a master plumber and gas fitter and operated in Pike County for more than 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Lou and Lewis Hamilton Stubbs; brothers, Wilmer Jinright, James Jinright and Glen Stubbs; and sisters, Jean Watkins, Catherine Griffin and Pam Stubbs.

He is survived by his wife, Anida Stubbs of Troy; a daughter, Kimberly Stubbs of Troy; a son, Hamilton Stubbs of Troy; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Tommy Russell of Troy; brothers and sister-in-law, Donald Jinright of Phenix City, Jerry and Debbie Stubbs of Petrey, Billy and Ann Stubbs of Goshen, and Larry and Beverly Stubbs of Lakeland, Fla., father-in-law and mother-in-law, Oren and Mary Oglesby of Glenwood; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Susan and Dean Hall of Smiths Station, Cindy and Johnny Hammett of Phenix City, Pam and Danny Allen of Columbus, Ga., and Stacey and Dawn Oglesby of Prattville; sister-in-law, Frances Jinright; brother-in-law, G.V. Griffin; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Justin Allen, Stuart Brown, Matthew Hall, Stacey Oglesby, Allen Russell and Jon Stubbs.

Honorary pallbearers are Jimmie Helen Ballard, Sarah Golden, Kevin Hester, Mary Frances Locklar, Randy Marshall, Cephas Siler, members of Riverview Baptist Church and the staff of Lighthouse Hospice.

Memorials may be made to the Hinson Cemetery Fund, care of Johnny McVay, 2146 County Road 7703, Ramer, AL 36069, Lighthouse Hospice of Alabama or Riverview Baptist Church.

Daonna R. &uot;D.E.&uot; Kirkland

Daonna R. &uot;D.E.&uot; Kirkland, 67, of Banks died at her home Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007.

Visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Kirkland of Banks; three daughters, Angela Ford, Karlene O’Hair and Marlene Herman; parents, Harold and Virginia Ginegaw; siblings, Seanna Rugenstein, Gregory Ginegaw, Carol Consol, Clarence Ginegaw, Virginia Laaffenburger and Amy Jones.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
