Angela Zoila Berrios Torres de Borgos

On Dec. 12, 2006, Angela Zoila Berrios Torres de Borgos passed away to join her husband, Rafael Angel Borges Vazquez.

They will be buried with her family in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, where they were born and raised.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Edward Merkel, and her sons, Ralpho and Etiennnne Borgo. Her love, sweetness and kindness will be remembered forever. Miss Angie will be dearly missed, but her lessons of love and wisdom remain engraved in the hearts of her children.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Colley Senior Center in her memory. After traveling the world, it was at the center where Angela found the friendships and joy that filled her last days on earth.

Delaurice Crowell

Funeral services for Delaurice Crowell, 85, of Montgomery, who died in Montgomery, Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Marvin Jackson and the Rev. W.O. Sanders officiating.

Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Glenwood.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harris Crowell. Mr. Crowell was retired from the Pike Teacher Credit Union.

She is survived by a sister, Pearl Adis of Troy; a sister-in-law, Kathyrn Henderson of Glenwood; a caregiver and niece, Penni Hobbs of Montgomery; local nieces, Candice Allen of Selma, Joyce Manning of Goshen, Sue Hoover of Goshen, Ethel Smith of Goshen and Gwen Qualls of Troy; and several other nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Rex Rhodes, Grady Rhodes, Ricky McLendon, Shawn Richburg, Tommy Deveridge and Pat Leverett.

Annie Mae Richardson Cato

Funeral

services for the late Annie Mae Richardson Cato, who died Dec. 19, 2006, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rock Elvy Baptist Church in Shady Grove with the Rev. Raymond Franklin and

the Rev. Daniel Richardson officiating.

Burial will be in Rock Elvy Churchyard Cemetery under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cato was born on July 23, 1949, to Joel Richardson and the late Josie McClain Richardson in Shady Grove.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Rock Elvy Baptist Church in Shady Grove.

Mrs. Cato graduated from Stringer High School in Goshen and attended Miles College in Birmingham.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Josie McClain Richardson, and one brother, Moses Richardson.

Mrs. Cato is survived by her husband, Ben Cato of Shady Grove; three sons, Ben

Cato Jr. of Yonkers, NY, Joseph Jermaine Cato of Sumter, S.C., and Dorian Richard Cato of Goshen; four grandchildren,

Cato, all of Yonkers, NY; her parents, Joel and Georgie Richardson of Shady Grove; one brother, Oliver Wardell (Lucy) Richardson of White Plains, NY; three sisters, Carolyn Tuck and Doris Jean Hendricks, both of Troy, and Doris Mae (Jim) Anderson of Montgomery; six aunts, Jessie M. Jacob, Flossie Richardson, Carrie Henderson, Essie Mae Richardson, Mary Alice Richardson and Minnie Pearl McKee; two uncles, Joe Carter and Walter Taylor; several nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Rosalind L. Hollerman

Funeral

services for Rosalind L. Hollerman, who died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in Troy with the Rev. Samuel Smith and the Rev. Alfreda Ballard officiating.

Burial will be held at Community Memorial Cemetery under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hollerman, affectionately known as &#8220Roz,” was born Oct. 28, 1957, to the late James Hollerman Sr. and the late Cherry I. Crist.

She attended Dade County Public Schools.

At an early age she was baptized by her grandfather, the late Rev. E. D. Dennis, accepting Christ as her personal savior.

She was a dedicated employee at Henderson, Black & Green for 10 years.

Rosalind had a special talent for bringing a smile to the faces of all those that she came into contact with.

She could make you laugh no matter what the situation.

If you were having a bad day, &#8220Roz” would soon make you forget your troubles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Hollerman Sr. and Cherry I. Crist, and her husband, Charles Bennett.

She is survived by her sons: Anthony D. (Chakisha) Reaves Jr., Benjamin Williams Jr., and Khiry Hollerman; daughters, Auntwanette D. (Joshua) Reaves and Jamise Hollerman; grandchildren: Antobia, Anthony III, Asia, Xavier Cordale, Antavia, Xavier, Kashif and JaKala; stepfather, Albert Crist; brothers, Dave Johnson, Carnell Hollerman, Carl Crist, Albert Crist, and Tony Crist; sisters, Tangela, Penella, Sharon and Linda Hollerman, and Alberta and Diedre Crist; grandmother, Lucy Dennis; aunts, Betty Dennis, Peggy Ann (John) Snell, Carolyn (Dywane) Ponder, Everlena Caldwell and Beulah (Gene) Simmons; uncles, Edward, Willie and Earl Dennis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Funeral services for Rosie Lee Brundidge will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at New Shiloh Baptist Church in Troy with the Rev. James Thomas, officiating.

Burial will be held at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brundidge was born Nov. 27, 1924, to the late Romiles Collins and Louise McGee Collins. She was married to the late Anderson Brundidge and had three

children, Rosanna, Bertha, and Katie Mae.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one daughter, Bertha Bell; and three brothers, Clarence, Romiles and William Arthur

She is survived by two children; Rosanna (Jeff) Davenport and Katie

Graveside services for Lamar West, 65, of Goshen, who died at his home Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Providence Cemetery with the Rev. David Richburg and the Rev. W.O. Sanders officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

He is survived by a step-son, Jerome (Joy) Lester of Troy; a brother, Bobby West of Brantley; a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Paul Rhodes of Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews.
