Paul M. Hamilton

Services for Paul M. Hamilton, 74, of Troy, who died at his home Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dillard Funeral Home in.

Burial will follow at Banks Cemetery in Banks.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mr. Hamilton graduated from the FBI Academy June 10, 1955.

He was a former member of the Talladega Police Department, and he had 17 years of law enforcement experience and served on the Pike County ABC Board.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette J. Hamilton, and his parents, Melvin P. and Velma Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Paul and Julie Hamilton of Talladega; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Sheldon Doty of Troy; grandchildren, Anjela D. Hamilton of Inverness, Fla., and Leslie Campbell of Troy; a great grandchild, Breanna Campbell of Troy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sarah and Earl Mashburn of Talladega and JoAnn and Stanley Echols of Texasville.
