Baleigh Maree Chapman

Graveside services for Baleigh Maree Chapman, 8 months, of Brundidge, who died Thursday, sept. 7, 2006, at Troy Regional Medical Center,

will be at 11 a.m .tuesday, Sept. 12, at Mount Olive Cemeter in rocky Head with the Rev. Joe Underwood officiating.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Baleigh is survived by her mother, Emily Chapman of Brundidge; grandparents, Don and Shellie Chapman of Brundidge and Glen and Mary Mullin; great-grandparents, Margaret and Thomas Carr of Ariton and Pettie Lee Wambles of Coffee County; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Buddy Sneed

Graveside services for Buddy Sneed, 64, of Brundidge, who died Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, at his home, will be at 11 a.m .Monday at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery wit the Rev. Averyt Walker officiating.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elford and Curlie Mae Sneed; a brother, Homer Leon Sneed and a sister, Mattie Pearl Dansby.

Survivors include his wife, Marie A. Sneed of Brundidge; three children,  Wendy and Thad Pittman of Shellhorn,  Kelly and Doug Johnson of Banks,  Buddy Allen and Detra Sneed of Louisville; seven grandchildren,  Hannah and Wil Pittman, Dylan and Landon Johnson, and Courtney, Colby, Camryn Sneed; two brothers, Buck and Marie H. Sneed of Brundidge, and Marvin Sneed of Brundidge.

Pallbearers will beNeal Sneed, Homer Sneed, Timothy Sneed, Terry Sneed, Nate Sneed, Douglas Dansby.

The familiy requests memorials be made to the Montgomery Cancer Center of Day Springs Hospice.

Services for Jeannie Hallford, 59, of Troy ,who died Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, at her home will be at 2 p.m. today at Shiloh Baptist Church on Highway 130 in Banks with the Revs. Joe Leverette and Averyt Walker officiating.

She will lie-in-state from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

Mrs. Hallford was born June 29, 1947, in Greenville. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Hallford was preceded in death by her father, Frank Bowen and a brother, John Bowen.

Survivors include her husband, Donnie Hallford; daughter and her husband, Donna and William Davenport; grandsons, Wes Davenport and Josh Davenport; mother, Clara Mae Bowen; sister and her husband, Barbara and Rex Brooks; sister-in-law, Doris Bowen; and several nieces and nephews.

The family request donations be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Box 1146, Troy, Ala., 36081.

Millie Beard Galloway

Services for Millie Beard Galloway, 95, of Tarentum and St. John Community

near Brundidge,

who died Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at St. John Baptist Church in Brundidge with the Revs. Kenny Horn, Clifford Matthews, Mack King, W.O. Sanders and Paul Matthews, her grandson, officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Skeen Funeral

Home in Brundidge.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at the church fellowship hall. She will lie in state from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mrs. Galloway was born Aug. 21, 1911, in Goshen, the daughter of Robert Oscar Beard Jr. and Jessie Ross

Folmar Beard.

She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Billy Galloway; and her husband, Byron Galloway.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Peggy June and Clifford Matthews of Tarentum; a daughter-in-law, Oma Jean Galloway of Tarentum; grandchildren, Wanda and Larry Lucas of Huntsville and Paul and Dana Matthews of Daphne; seven great-grandchildren, Stephanie Lucas, Diana Lucas, Brittany Lucas, Ben Lucas, Hannah Matthews,

Jeremy Matthews and Zack Matthews; a brother

and his wife, Bobby and Sybil Beard of Brundidge; two sisters and their husbands, Bernice and Robert Floyd of Goshen and Jeanette and Ed Whaley

of Troy; a sister-in-law and her husband, Carolyn and Eldon Trotter of Dothan; and several nieces and

nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be the ladies' Sunday school class at St. John Church. The family requests memorials be made to the St. John Cemetery Trust Fund, c/o Carolyn Senn, 1175 County Road 107, Brundidge, Ala., 36010.
