Ernestine H. Callin

Graveside services for Ernestine H. Callin, 80, who died Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at her residence will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2006 at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Don Hatcher officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Callin was born January 26, 1926 in Pike County. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Glen Hardin and Katie Parker Hardin.

Survivors include her husband, Elvin Callin of Troy; son and his wife, Gary and Judy Callin of Troy; 2 daughters and a husband, Carla Dai and Michael Watson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Carol Joane Grant of Montgomery; 4 grandchildren and their spouses, Dana and Kevin Stephens of Prattville, Michael and Sharon Grant of Pike Road, Gary Jr. and Jacki Callin of Troy and Jason and Amy Callin of Birmingham; 3 great-grandsons; 5 great-granddaughters; sister, Gladys Curtis of Troy; 1 nephew and 2 nieces.

The family request memorials be made to Alzheimer's Resource Center, P.O. Box 1170, Dothan, Al. 36302.

Mildred Ellafair Hudson

Mildred Ellafair Hudson, 83, of Elba, died at Elba Nursing Home, Tuesday, August 15, 2006. Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Thursday, August 17, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. There will be a one hour lie-in-state prior to the service at the church. The funeral service will be held at Center Ridge United Methodist Church on Friday, August 18, 2006 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Ray Stinson officiating. Burial will follow at Center Ridge Cemetery. She is survived by Sister, Pettie Lee Wambles of Jack, Brother, R.C. Boutwell of Troy, Sister, Willie Pearl Randle of Phenix City, Brother, R.P. Boutwell of Panama City, Florida, Numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hudson, sisters, Magdalene McCollough, Maudie Grimes and Zeatrice Johnson and a brother, James Irey Boutwell.
