Martha Sue Freeman Wilson

Martha Sue Freeman Wilson, 63, of Troy died Saturday, July 22, 2006, at her home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at God's Way Baptiist Church in Troy with the Rev. Chad Teal and the Rev. Craig Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy. She will lie in state from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Skeen Funeral Home.

She was born Aug. 9, 1942, in Pike County to the late John Henry Freeman and Gladys Ellis Freeman. She was a homemaker and was a member of God's Way Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Harold Freeman, Paul Freeman, Gerald Freeman and Joseph Freeman.

Survivors include her husband, Levi Wilson of Troy; daughter, Marie Wilson of Troy; grandson, Christopher Wilson of Troy; brother and wife, John Owen and Bessie Freeman of Euless, Texas; sister and husband, Charolotte and Bryant Brown of Troy; brothers-in-law and wives, Louie and Lessie Mae Wilson of Goshen, Roy and Alice Wilson of Troy; sister-in-law and husband, Harold and Juanita Jones of Phenix City; several nieces, nephews, greatnieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Donnie Brown, Ray W. Floyd, Hank Sims, Keith Wilson, Roy Wilson and Louie Wilson. The family requests memorials be made to God's Way Baptist Church.
