Services for Reginald Byrd Thomas, 27, of Troy who died June 1, 2006 in Troy will be at 2 p.m. June 6, 2006 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church with Reverend Karnie Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Carroll Street Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. June 5, 2006.

Mr. Thomas was born July 26, 1978 in Troy, Alabama. He attended Alabama A&M in Huntsville, Alabama.

He was affiliated with St. Paul A.M.E. Church.

Survivors include his father, Willie C. Thomas, Jr; mother, Patricia Byrd Thomas; grandmothers, Martha Byrd and Lessie Thomas; grandfather, Willie C. Thomas, Sr. of Birmingham; sons, Damari Regai and Ayden Sayred Thomas; sister, Carry Durham (Michael of Tucson, Arizona); niece and nephew, Amyia and Antonio; special friend, Dorothy, &#8220Ma Dot” Hicks; great-great aunt, Ola Mae Thomas; great-uncle, Simon Byrd, Jr. (Iola Ruth); great aunts, Melvere Warren, Blonzelle Byrd and Troy Lee Ellington (Eufaula); extended family members of the late Pinkie Lee Williams and the late Will Frank Alloway; cousin, Albert Hicks, Apelete (Julian) Allagan; Gloria Debose; the Class of 1996 and several other relatives and friends.
