Robert E. Parker

Robert E. Parker, 64, of Troy passed away Sunday, March 12, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services were held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 13, 2006 beginning at 2 p.m. with Reverend Jerome Weed officiating. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Hayes Funeral Home of Elba directing. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Monday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Southside Baptist Church, 522 South Brundidge Street in Troy, 36081 or to Southerncare Hospice, Inc., 5 North Pointe Parkway, Suite D & E, Enterprise,36330.

Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby Broscoe Parker and Martha Livings Parker; brother, Shelby Parker along with 2 sisters, Jean Moore and Joy Vickers.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Hudson Parker of Troy; son, Stephen Parker and daughter-in-law Kim Parker of Wetumpka; daughter, Julie Parker of Troy; brother, Roger Parker and sister-in-law, Ann Parker of Luverne; sisters, Irene Dorough of Elba, Betty Gainer of Youngstown, Florida, Martha Jo Watkins of Middleburg, Florida and Barbara Sue Parker of Elba; grandson, Austen Parker of Wetumpka and granddaughter, Madison Schofield of Wetumpka.

Funeral Services Will be Held Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge, With Reverend Donnie Marler officiating, Dillard Funeral Home 0f Brundidge Directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Crenshaw is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her husband Menefee Crenshaw
