Survivors include:children, Donna Boutwell of Arlington, Texas, Christina and Joseph Messina of Glenwood, Michael and Stacie Boutwell of Indiana, Donald Everson of Troy, Shawn and Tonya Everson of Springfield, Ill., James Boutwell of Louisiana; grandchildren, Alexis Messina, Kyle Messina, Kristen Messina, Andrew Everson, Amber Everson, Jake Everson, Sierra Rutherford, Thomas Michael Boutwell, Crystal Boutwell, Skylar Everson, Dylan Everson, Mckenna Everson, Mackenzie Boutwell; sister, Sarah Pittman; sister-Patricia Boutwell of Jack, brother, Rendall Boutwell of Troy; sister-Shirley (Alvin) Nelson of Virginilina, Va. ; numerous nieces and nephews, preceded in death by parents, Freeman and Mollie Boutwell; brother, Escar Horace Boutwell and a sister, Louise Spear.

Elsie Hueston

Elsie Hueston, 84, of Goshen died Friday, March 24, 2006, at Jackson Hospital In Montgomery.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 27, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Henderson Methodist Church with the Rev. Myron Price, the Rev. Andy Blackmon and the Rev. Marvin Jackson officiating.

Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. She will lie in state from 1-2:30 p.m. prior to the service.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

She was born in Coffee County Feb. 19, 1922, to the late John Frank and Mary Lou Kennedy Sanders. She and her husband were missionaries to Mexico for 35 years. She wrote articles about Henderson for The Messenger. She was a long-time member of the Creative Writers Club and was a member of the group responsible for the bookm Heritage of Pike County, Alabama. She and her husband were long-time members of the Cornerstone Bible Church, Montgomery. She was a long-time member of the Pike County Historical and Genealogical Society and for the past number of years served as the corresponding secretary.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Hueston and a sister-in-law and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. William George.

She is survived by her husband, William Hueston of Goshe; a son, Frank Hueston of Troy; a daughter, Marian Johnson of Canyon Lake, Texas; seven grandchildren, Erin and Michael Johnson-Garcia of McAllen, Texas, Rebekah Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas, Anthony J. Hurt of Troy, Donovan and Carrie Hueston of Troy and Caleb, Aaron and Sarah Hueston of Coal Township, Penn.; a great-grandchild, Trevor Hueston of Troy; a sister-in-law, Rosa Nell Sanders of Goshen; and a nephew, Benny Sanders of Montgomery.

Memorials may be made to the Rio Grande Bible Institute in Edinburg, Texas, of Cornerstone Bible Church in Montgomery.
