Emma Sue Johnson Peacock

Services for Emma Sue Johnson Peacock, 73, of Troy who died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Evangelist Burney Enzor and grandson, Michael Thonen officiating.

She will lie in state from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Needmore Road in Troy under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8p.m. Monday, February 13 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Peacock was born February 22, 1932 in Pike County. She was a homemaker and a devoted Christian, loving wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Johnson and Corella Griswold Johnson; son, Ray Mitchele Peacock, and brothers, Alwyn Johnson and James Blaney Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur G. Peacock of Troy; son and his wife, Bobby Joe and Shirley Peacock of Milledgeville, Georgia; daughter and her

husband, Mary Jean and Philip Thonen of Panama City, Florida; grandchildren, Bobby Randall Peacock, David Ray and his wife Jessica Peacock and Jarrod Arthur Peacock all of Milledgeville, Michael Heath Thonen of Dunwoody, Georgia, Heather Marie and her husband, James Gibbens of Panama City, Cheryl and her

husband, Charles Baker of Tarpon Springs, Florida and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lex Floyd, Pete Jordan, Donald Floyd, Jimmy Floyd, David Peacock, Wayne Peacock and Rayford Peacock.
