William H. &#8220Bill” Segars

William H. &#8220Bill” Segars, 68 of Troy, died Wednesday, January 25, 2006 in Birmingham.  Visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church in Troy on Friday, January 27, 2006 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.  The funeral service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Troy at 4:00 pm with Reverend Alan McBryde and Reverend John Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing.  Serving as pallbearers will be, Jake Doty, Joe Watson, Wendly Wade Tatom, Tommy Dillard, Spencer Burkett, and Frazier Tatum. Honorary pallbearers will be Nell Stinson and Dexter Williamson. The family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or First United Methodist Church of Troy.

Survivors include, Wife, Jane Quall Segars of Troy, Children, Mary Carol Segars(Emory) Haley, Jeff (Ellen) Segars, Ree Segars Pate, Stepchildren, John Paul(Tammy) Senn, Stacy Senn, Leslie Elaine(Frazier) Tatum, Grandchildren, Alexis Segars Pate, Leslie Haley, Mary Frances Segars, and  Bryant Segars, Sisters, Joe Segars (Bill) Nabers, and Jane Segars (Ed) Landers and several nieces and nephews.  Mr. Segars practiced pharmacy for 48 years and the last 23 years were at Troy Regional Medical Center.
