Mabel Louise Belcher Rodgers

Mabel Louise Belcher Rodgers, 91, of Montgomery and formerly of Brundidge, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, in Montgomery.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home In Brundidge with the Rev. Jimmy Spikes and Walter Albritton officiating.

Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge. Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, from 6-8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

She is

survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nelma and Jamie Flowers of Montgomery; a granddaughter an dhusband, Jeana Flowers (Barry) Prim of Montgomery, a grandson and wife, Brad and Kimberly

Flowers of Montgomery; great-grandchildren Emily Prim, Mary Rodgers Prim, Garrett Flowers and Grayden Flowers; a brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Ruby Belcher of Brundidge and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eugene Rodgers and her parents, Allison and Cora Belcher, brothers Venron and Clark Belcher and a sister, Ethell Harkness.

Richard Wentland

Richard Wentland, age 38, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, at Stills Cross Roads.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, at Full Gospel Assembly of God Church in Josie, with the Rev. Lavon Singleton, the Rev. Calvin Faircloth and the Rev. Jimmy Helms officiating. Burial will follow at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Skeen Funeral of Troy. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec.10, 2005, at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy.

He was born Sept. 4, 1967, in Troy. His parents were the late Phillip Wentland and the late Patricia Jean Williams Nicholson. He worked as a carpenter and in the construction industry.

Survivors include his wife, Rebekah Wentland of Troy; two sons, Craig and Caleb Wentland and their mother, Marie Wentland, all of Banks; two stepdaughters, Taylor and Graceson Adams of Troy; three brothers, Sammy (Lisa) Wentland of Brundidge; Henry Wentland of Josie; and Keith Oakes of Brundidge; three sisters, Beverly Kay and Alan Andress of Troy; Dorothy and Jeff Coker of Hartford; and Shelby and Bart Sanders of Troy; mother and father in law, Rusty and Donna Earls of Troy; mother-in-law Martha Wambles of Troy; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be James Oakes, Ray Allen, Earl Singleton, Robert Graddy, Robbie Graddy and Dale Sharpe.

Carl N. Precise

Carl N. Precise, age 76, of Geneva died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at his residence.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel in Opp, with Brother Haywood and Paul Nawlin officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens in Opp, with military honors. Visiting will be Sunday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home.

He is survived by a daughter, Carol Supri, of Troy; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Karen Precise of Geneva; sister, Carolyn Huggins of Arab; and grandchildren, Robert Precise, Jonathan Precise, Michael Precise; Shea Supri and wife Jennifer.

Junaita Greene Hartley

Junaita Greene Hartley, 75 passed away on Dec. 6, 2005.

She was loved and cherished by her family and friends.

Juanita was survived by her children, John D. Hartley, Linda H. Seay, Jimmie H. Hartley, Lisa D. Neally and Laura B. Hudson; her sisters, Lavon Cain and Mary Pitman; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

There will be a 30 minute lie-in-state prior to the service at the church. The funeral service will be held at St. John Baptist Church on Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Billy Cardwell officiating.

Burial will follow at St. John Baptist Church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
