Kelly McCorvey Tellis

Services for Kelly McCorvey Tellis, 16, of Troy who died November 6, 2005 will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 12 at Greater St. Paul AME Church with Pastor, Ann Blackmon officiating.

Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be Friday, November 11 from 12 Noon until 5 p.m.

Kelly was born September 5, 1989 in Montgomery. He was a sophomore at Charles Henderson High School. Kelly attended New Life Christian Church. He enjoyed football, basketball, baseball and music.

Kelly was preceded in death by his sister, RaSheda L. Maynor; grandparents, I. D. Still, Mary L. Jackson and Elbert T. Tellis.

Survivors include his parents, H. V. Still and Irene Tellis of Troy; two brothers, Dezra Q. Tellis and Adrian D. Elder of Troy; grandmother, Thelma Tellis of Troy; Six aunts, Garrett (Willie) Lucas, Mary E. Dotch, Grethia Jackson all of Troy, Cora Byrd of Willingboro, New Jersey and Mary (Carlton) Clifton of Opelika; ten uncles, Barney Ray Tellis, Robert Tellis, Frank (Mary) Tellis, Dannie Byrd and Bruce Still all of Troy, Johnny Tellis, Willie Tellis, Comie (Susie) Byrd Jr. all of Atlanta; Freddie (Monica) Jackson of Austin, Texas and Ricky Still of Opelika; devoted cousin, Brenda Fayson and several loving cousins, friends and classmates.

Pallbearers will be Trey Freeman, Nick Barber, Antonio Youngblood, Jerad Lofton, Chris Moore and Marquece &#8220Squeeze” Canty.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Charles Henderson football team and the class of 2008.

Floral Bearers will be his classmates.
