Stace Allisun Thompson Johnson, 25, of Troy, died at her home Thursday, October 6, 2005. Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Sunday, October 9, 2005 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Sunday, October 9, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Dr. Malone Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. The honorary pallbearers will be the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Chapter B of Alabama. Survivors include her husband, Joe Johnson of Troy; two daughters, Brittney Morgen Samantha Johnson of Troy and Sydney Madisun Johnson of Troy; parents, Bibb and Dallis Thompson of Troy; brother, Eric Thompson of Montgomery; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Mamie Lena Campbell

Mrs. Mamie Lena Campbell, 83, of Brundidge passed away on Oct.8 at Enterprise Nursing Home.

Services will be held on Monday, Oct.10 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Brundidge. The burial will take place at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 9 at Skeen Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Mrs. Campbell was born on January 13, 1922 in Muscogee County, GA. Her parents were the late William Henry Chance and Cora Lee Bundy Chance.

Mrs. Campbell was survived by her husband, N.D. &uot;Tom&uot; Campbell of Brundidge, three daughters and sons-in-law: Marnie Mcwaters of Brundidge; Marcella &uot;Marcy&uot; and Ray Childs of Elba; Cinderella and Carl Harris of Enterprise; seven grandchildren: Amanda and Josh Rodgers of Elba; Greg and Julie Mcwaters of Brundidge; Jeff Mcwaters of Brundidge; Anthony Childs of Enterprise; Morris Childs of Elba; Matthew Childs of Elba; Cindy and Scottie Bell of Carthage, N.Y.; 12 great grandchildren, two brothers and sisters-in-laws: Walker and Anne Chance of Daleville; Blanton and Anne Chance of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.; sister and brother-in-law: Frances and Jessie Parker of Jack; sister-in-law: Cleone Chance of Troy; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Dorothy Tillery

Mrs. Dorothy Tillery, 55, of Troy passed away Friday, Oct. 7 at her residence.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10 at Green Drive Baptist church in Troy. Mrs. Tillery will lie in state at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service.

Rev. Tim McMahon and Rev. Curtis Faulkner will be officiating.

Burial will take place at Belser Cemetery in Briar Hill.

Skeen Funeral Home of Troy will be directing.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday Oct. 9 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy.

Mrs. Tillery was born on March 3, 1950 in Pike County. Her parents were Press Hughes and Mary Ellen Walker Hughes.

Mrs. Tillery was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Tillery on 6-27-1998, son, Douglas Lamar Tillery, parents, Press and Mary Ellen Walker Hughes, brothers, Robert Pugh and James Sheppard, and a sister, Sara Jane Hughes.

She is survived by three sons and daughter-in-laws: Walter Dewayne Tillery, Sr. and Teresa Marie Tillery of Troy; Larry and Sandra Tillery of Ansley; Tony Tillery of Troy; a beloved pet dog, Walker; daughter and son-in-law: Donna Tillery and Glen Kidd of Troy; grandchildren Walter Dewayne Tillery, Jr., Nikita Tillery, Erica Kidd, Megan Kidd, Stacey Tillery, Larry Tillery, Joshua Kidd, great grandson: John Douglas Tillery, brother and sister-in-law: George and Sara Sewell of Rutledge.
