Charles Luther Ammons

Charles Luther Ammons, Jr., 58, of Troy died at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Sunday, September 4, 2005. Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM. Graveside services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at

4:00 PM with Reverend Marvin Jackson and Reverend Perry Vickers officiating. The family request that memorials be made to your favorite charity. The honorary pallbearers are Hank Jones, Ronnie Baker, Brett Vann, Keron Vickers, James Key, Phillip Rawls, Jason Capstraw and Jim Horn. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Ann B. Ammons of Troy, 2 Daughters and son-in-law, Erika and Chad Payne of Tuscaloosa and Summer Ammons of Prattville, Sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Marvin Vickers of Enterprise.

Homer Lee Collins

Mr. Homer Lee Collins age 89 of Troy, died Friday, September 2, 2005 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

Graveside services were held Sunday, September 4, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park with the Reverend Otis Derrah officiating.

Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directed. Visitation was held Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.

Mr. Collins is survived by: his wife of 65 years, Earlie Mae Collins of Troy, a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and David Headley of Eclectic, a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Janice Collins of Ft. Walton, 5 Granddaughters, 6 Great Grand Children, 3 Sisters, Virginia Davenport, Belma Wilson, and Mildred Collins, a Brother and Sister-in-law, Grover and Alice Collins, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Collins
