John Preston Keen, Sr.

John Preston Keen, Sr., 77, of Troy, died at Dale Medical Center in Ozark Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Monday, Sept. 26, 2005 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005 at 3 p.m. with the Rev.

Dennis Singletary officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy.

The family request that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.

Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Jeff Edmondson of Columbia, Tenn.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John and Kathrine Keen of Troy and Kenneth Keen of Dothan; three step-sons, Gerald (Alvis) Coppage, William (Hermie) Coppage and Cecil Coppage; brother and sister-in-law, James and Nancy Lee Keen of Newton; sisters, Elfie Lee Watson of Newton and Willie Low Keen of Houston, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Keen.
