Renna Pearl Glenn

Services for Rena Pearl (Toney) Glenn who died Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2005 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Troy with Rev. Frank Likely officiating.

Burial will be in Elam Missionary Baptist Church in Springhill under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home of Troy.

Mrs. Glenn was born April 14, 1949 in Pike County. At an early age she joined Benevolent Baptist Church. After being united in marriage she joined Elam Missionary Church where she was faithful until death. On September 28, 1990 she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Willie "Will" Glenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murray and Jessie Pearl Toney and a sister Dorothy Collins.

Survivors include three sons, Darnell Toney of Miami, Fla., Willie Edward amd Sarah Toney and Reginal Toney, both of Troy; daughter, Carmitra Toney of Troy; brother, Willie and Annette Toney of Troy; three sisters, Pamela Toney, Shellie and Larry Adair and Cynthia Faye Toney, all of Troy; nine grandchildren, Marsheka, Ty'Keyah, Rikesia and Mahaja (Quez) Toney and JaLazia Fulpher, all of Troy; Channell, Davona, Sasha and Cornelius (Corey) Latimore, all of Swainsboro, Ga.; two sisters-in-law, Johnnie Ruth McClure of Montgomery and Nora Pearl and Oliver Townsend of Saginaw, Mich.; six brothers-in-law, Alfonza and Eula Williams, Eddie and Vera Glenn, Lamar Glenn and Harvey Glenn, all of Detroit, Mich.; Eugene and Mattie Glenn of Dayton, Ohio; and Willie James and Mary Glenn of Inglewood, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Floral bearers will be friends of the family.
