Johnny W. Boykin

Johnny W. Boykin, 62 of Goshen, died at his home, Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005. 

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Friday, Sept. 9, 2005, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at 10 a.m. with Reverend David Zorn, Reverend W.O. Sanders and Reverend Royce Richards officiating.  

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Pallbearers will be Steven Boykin, David Whatley, William McLeod, David McLeod, Sam Noblin and Sammy Noblin.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Boykin, Goshen; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy Boykin (David) McLeod, Henderson, Donna (David) Whatley, Goshen; stepson and step-daughter-in-law, William and Denise McLeod, Brundidge; mother, Jeanette Boykin, Brantley; grandsons, David (Dawn) Whatley and Steven Boykin; grandchildren, Endsley McLeod, Jennifer and Jessica Thrash, Ashley Norman; great grandchildren, Skyler and Erin Shay Walker; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Sam Noblin; brother-in-law, Larry Bozeman; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Marshal P. Boykin.

The family request that memorials be made to Wiregrass Hospice or Goshen Baptist Church.
