No. 7-ranked Brantley is coming off a 18-16 loss to Elba, ending their streak of 25 regular-season wins.

It was Brantley’s first regular season loss since 2002.

Goshen head coach Joe Thornton believes that Brantley will rebound.

&uot;It was a wake-up call for them,&uot; Thornton said. &uot;They’re a mature team and they’re going to come out playing very hard.&uot;

The Eagles will have their work cut out for them.

&uot;They have very good skill people,&uot; Thornton said. &uot;Their tailback is as good as I’ve ever seen.&uot;

Goshen has been working on their technique to get ready for the game.

&uot;If we execute and get better from the last game, we’ll be fine,&uot; the coach said.

Last year Goshen lost

to Brantley 48-20.

&uot;We’ll play hard,&uot; Thornton said. &uot;It’s a rivalry game and that means a lot to our players.&uot;
