John Mack Taylor

John Mack Taylor, 71, of Troy died Thursday, July 7, 2005, at his home. 

Visitation will be held Friday July 8, 2005, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy, Saturday, July 9, 2005, at 11 a.m. with The Rev. Mack King officiating. 

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park. The pallbearers will be close friends and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Neal Stronach, Dr. Shane Cunningham, Dr. Glenn Peters, Dr David Franco, and Dr. David Morrison.

Survivors include wife, Mary R. Taylor, Troy; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Shane Cunningham, Montgomery; son, John Mack Taylor, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Bertha Taylor, Brundidge; grandchildren, Kerri Lee Taylor, Troy; Heather Taylor, Montvallo; Harrison Cunningham; John Faulkner Cunningham; Hamilton Cunningham; sisters and brothers, Howell Lee (Edna) Taylor, Brundidge; Addie Bean Murphy, Troy; Paul (Jeanette)Taylor, Atlanta; Lorelle Jones, Montgomery; Sue Green (Harold) Gibson, Troy; host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Wendell Taylor, Paso Taylor, Seth Taylor, Jack Taylor and Sarah Griswold.

The family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
