Melvin Luther Garrett

Melvin Luther Garrett, 73, of Ebenezer died Monday, May 23, 2005.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Wednesday, May 25, 2005,

from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at 11 a.m. with Elder Cary Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family request that memorials be made to your favorite charity. The pallbearers will be Mr. Garrett’s nephews.

Survivors include, two daughters, Rita Garrett of Atlanta, Georgia and Linda (Rickey) Love of Pineville, La.; son, Phillip Garrett of Montgomery;

four grandchildren; brothers, Brady (Mary Jo) Garrett, Bradley (Toy) Garrett, Chester (Aline) Garrett, Douglas (Norma) Garrett, Johnny (Patricia) Garrett and Abner (Brenda) Garrett; sister, Betty Garrett; step-mother, Dorothy Garrett; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Warren and Lucille Pearl Garrett, his sister, Evelyn Garrett and his brother, James &uot;Tennie&uot; Garrett.
