Eva M. Drake Graves Daniels

Mrs. Eva M. Drake Graves Daniels, born in Midway, Alabama on Sept. 23, 1920, was the daughter of Mrs. Daisy Graves and Mr. Moses Drake. She spent her early years in Montgomery where she attended the West End Elementary School, Canaan Hill Baptist Church and Mt. Gillard Baptist Chruch.

After relocating to the family's home in Midway, she attended the Fellowship School and Hayes Hill Baptist Church. It was at Hayes Hill that she accepted Jesus Christ as her savior. She is a graduate of Academy Street High School in Troy. She married Rozell Daniels, who preceded her in death and to this union nine sons and one daughter was born. She was an exceptional wife and mother and a dedicated member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church where she served as church secretary for more than forty years. She

faithfully served as the Sunbeam director for forty plus years with the assistance of Mrs. Annie Laura Jackson, her Sister in Christ.

Her church service also included Youth Director, Red Circle Advisor, Missionary Society Circle Number Four Secretary and Adult Sunday School Class Number One, Assistant teacher. She was an active participant at Southeast Baptist State Conventions and the New Pine Grove District Association Conferences. She was employed as a cafeteria supervisor for Academy Street High School and Troy State University.

Mrs. Eva Daniels was a dedicated community volunteer as a member of the Board of Directors of South Alabama Community Development Corporation, the PTA Advisory Board, AARP, Concerned Citizens, Pike Pioneer Museum and a Poll Official. She was an original member of the Dorothy Twelve Club and the Marva Pierce Travel Club.We thank God for a mother who made it clear that she was a &uot;born again child of God&uot;.

She died Tuesday, May 24, 2005.

Survivors include: children: William Dave (1932-1994). Rozell Daniels, Jr. (Jeanette), Isham Henry Daniels (1941-1992) (Clara), LeRoy Daniels, (Sandra), Lamar Daniels, Brady Daniels (Sylvia), Gladys Daniels Gillis (Lewis), LeePosey Daniels (Nonie), Vaughn Daniels, (Gwen), Vernon Daniels (Evelyn); thirty two grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Leslie Thomas, Gertrude Graves and Audrey Downs (all deceased); a niece, and several nephews; cousins, Richard Smart (Ada), Benjamin Jordan, James Harding Harris, Juanita Long; other relatives and many extraordinary friends.

Carol Ann Worthington Green

Mrs. Carol Ann Worthington Green, 71, of Troy, died Friday, May 27, 2005, at the UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 29, 2005, at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. The Rev. Perry Green will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Old Lebanon Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

She is survived by her Husband Charles C. Green Sr. of Troy, a son Merrill H. Green of Troy, daughter-in-law and her husband Sharon and Steve Ellis of Brundidge, two granddaughters Amy Renee Green of Mobile and Brittney Michelle Green of Brundidge, and an aunt May Williams of Troy, Several Cousins and other Relatives.

She was preceded in death by her Daughter Vera Elizabeth Pickett and a son Charles C. Green Jr.

John Key, David Gibson, Hank Jones, Alex Whaley,

Burton Green and Bob Green will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Old Lebanon Cemetery Fund.

Frances Wingard Revell

Frances Wingard Revell, 79, of Troy died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at Troy Regional Medical Center. The visitation was held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy, Saturday, May 28, 2005, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.

The graveside service was held at Wingard Cemetery, Saturday, May 28, 2005, at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. Bo Weed officiating and Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Revell of Troy; two daughters and sons-in-law Mary S. and Robert L. Whaley of Troy and Martha S. and Richard F. Armstrong of St. Simons Island, Georgia; granddaughters, Melissa W. and Ty Boatner of Phenix City, Marsha W. and Wesley Meeks of Troy and Meredith A. and Derek Odegard of Atlanta, Georgia; three great-grandchildren, Colton and Kristen Meeks and Fielder Odegard; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Peggy and John Hood of Houston, Texas, and several nieces and nephews. The family request that memorials be made to Southside Baptist Church.

Sallye T. Bohanan

Sallye Thomas Bohanan, 69,

died May 23, 2005,

at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.

She is survived by devoted husband, George E. Bohanan; mother, Helen

Partin of Monteagle, Tenn.; brother, Billy

Thomas (Ann) of Smyrna, Tenn.; children,

Debbie Jones (Steve),

Phyllis Mattox (Kerry), both of Nashville, and Jim Bohanan (Emily) of Troy; grandchildren, Sammi Schmittou, Christi Jones, Steven Jones, Jessie Mattox, Kerry Mattox, all of Nashville, Jessie and Jake Bohanan, both of Troy,

and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Belmont Church, Nashville, Tenn.,

on June 11, 2005.
