Mark R. Ezell

Airman First Class Mark R. Ezell, 21 of Troy died Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at Kadena Airforce Base Japan.

He was born on Feb. 28, 1983, in Scott Airforce Base Illinois; a son of the late Billy Don Ezell and Patricia Woods Ezell of Follansbee, WV.

He is also preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, David and Ada Ezell.

He was a civil engineer with the United States Air Force stationed at Kadena Airforce Base in Japan.

He was Christian by faith.

Surviving is addition to his mother is an infant Daughter: Cheyenne Ezell and her mother, Kim Marchetti of Sugar Loaf, Penn.; one

Brother, Matthew Ezell and wife, Kristy of Troy;His maternal grandparents, Floyd and Anna Woods of Follansbee, W Va.; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. And also an extended family of friends in Follansbee, Alabama, and Florida.

Friends will be received on Friday, March 4

from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and again on Saturday, March 5th from 2 p.m. until time of Services at 4 p.m. at the James Funeral Home at 1245 Main St. in Follansbee, W Va., with Elder Jeff Cross, officiating.

Interment will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville, KY.

Full military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force honor guard from the Wright-Patterson Airforce Base in Dayton, OH.

Judy A. Brogdon

Judy Ann Powell Brogdon, 61, of Brundidge died at her home in Brundidge, Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge on Monday, Feb. 28, 2005,

from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be a 30 minute lie-in-state prior to the service at the church.

The funeral service will be held at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Dale County on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Robert Earl Powell officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The pallbearers are Cole Hagler, Derek Helms, Shawn Brogdon, Jim Brogdon, Aaron Newgard, and John Bradley.

Survivors include her husband,Willie Robert Brogdon of Brundidge; daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Junior Rudd of Brundidge, Connie and Ed Kreager of Dothan, Brenda and James Helms of Troy, Linda Brogdon of Brundidge; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Don Brogdon of Brundidge, Johnny and Debra Williams Brogdon of Brundidge; grandchildren, Shannon Newgard, Nikki Bradley, Cassandra Brogdon, ChristinaBrogdon, Frances Brogdon, Valerie Rudd, Regina Brogdon, Wanda Brodgon, Renee Brogdon, Jessica Brogdon, Candy Brogdon, Stacey Brogdon, Shawn Brogdon, William Brogdon, Jason Brogdon, Jim Brogdon, Derek Helms, Cole Hagler, Aaron Newgard, John Bradley, V; great grandchildren, Brittney Tyson, Dylan Reed, John Bradley, VI, Blake Newgard, Jade Bradley, Anna Price, Alexis Brogdon, Lexi Massey; sisters, Kate Woodard, Annie Lomaneck, Betty Green, Carolyn Thomas; brothers, Earl Powell, Gerald Powell, Robert Earl Powell, Rodger Dale Powell, David Powell, Buddy Powell; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by two grandsons, Johnnie Shane and Jeff Brogdon and several sisters and brothers. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Fund.
