Paul Raymond Graves

Services for Paul Raymond Graves, 80, of Montgomery, (formerly of Troy) who died Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at his home will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2004 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy with Dr. Harold Anderson and Rev. Benny Cole officiating.

He will lie-in-state from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service.

There will be Military rites by Charlie's Angels of Troy.

Burial will be in Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Graves was born April 9, 1924, in Pike County. He was a Civil Service Employee at Ft. Benning, Georgia and Fort Rucker for 30 years. He was in the Army three years during World War II and was a proud member of the 10th. Mountain Division.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles David Graves and Ada Mae Carter Graves.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Nell Graves of Montgomery; son, Paul Raymond Graves, Jr. of Bossier City, Louisiana; daughters, Vera Nell Graves Stewart of Durham, North Carolina, Nancy Ann Graves of Montgomery, Betty Jean Graves Houston of Theodore and Barbara Griffis Prince of Prattville; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
