Services for Stanley Conrad Holt, 41, of Troy who died February 21, 2004 at Baptist South Medical Center in Montgomery will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2003 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Banks with Reverend Carl Hollis officiating.

Burial will be in Antioch Church Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 24 at the funeral home.

Mr. Holt was born March 19, 1962 in Pike County. He was a high school graduate of Oyster Bay, New York and attended Chef School. He was a former member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Oyster Bay and enjoyed catering, cooking bar-b-que and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lee Holt.

Survivors include his mother, Pearl Washington of Oyster, New York; son, Conrad Holt of Oyster; wife, Ann Bean; two sister and their husbands, Patrica Adetayo and Joseph of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Olivia Cray and Reginald of Martinez, Georgia; brother, Herman Williams of Albany, Georgia; niece, Kendra Cray of Martinez, Georgia; four nephews, Tory Lawson of Chicago, Illinois, Corey Williams, Demon Williams and Terrance Williams all of Troy; aunt, Josephine Williams of Troy; extended daughters, Danyelle Bean, Erica Bean, Nicole Bean and Kamesha Bean; nine grandchildren; cousins, Jermanine Williams of Troy, Marie Ortiz of Atlanta and Willie Charles Jones of Hurtsboro and several other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers and floral bearers will be Friends of the Family.

Jean Hunter Porter

Services for Jean Hunter Porter, 86, of Troy, who died Friday, February 20, 2004 at Jackson Hospital, are 11 a.m. Monday, February 23 in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy officiated by the Rev. Dr. John Brannon.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park on Hwy. 29.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. today at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Porter.

Mrs. Porter is survived by her husband of 63 years Floyd W. Porter of Troy; two sons and daughters-in-law: Curtis H. and Diane Porter of Troy and David and Sandra Porter of Trapper Creek, Alaska; grandchildren Jeannie and Robert Birmingham, Michelle and Neal Armstrong, Leslie and Craig Garrison, Jennifer and Kirk Stephens, Nate Porter, and Daniel Porter; and brother Harold Hunter of Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Troy, or the Troy Public Library.
