The 2003 membership drive's

primary focus will be to introduce those outside the Chamber network to the assets and benefits of membership, and subsequently to the associated assets of a strong, community-supported Chamber of Commerce. Membership retention is also one of the drive's goals.

As growth and expansion take place in Pike County, it is important the Pike County Chamber of Commerce has the support of all Pike Countians.

Success is the expected result from the membership drive with the help of current members serving as team members; ITC DeltaCom as a prize sponsor, Pike County Economic Development Corporation as well as other sponsors to be named later.

The team with the most points at the end of the drive can expect to win a $500 cash prize or a $1,000 cash prize, depending on the final result of the entire drive.

Prizes will also be given based on individual team members points and team members can expect to pick from such prizes as: trips, gift certificates and show tickets.

The Chamber needs volunteers. For more information, or to sign up as a volunteer, please contact Christine Barron, Membership Director or Jenniffer Barner, President, at 566-2294.
