Lillian McGilvray Wilkerson

Mary Lillian McGilvray, age 91, a lifelong resident of Pike County died Wednesday July 30, 2003 at Magnolia Wood Lodge. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 02, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Dr. Ed Walter officiating with burial in Green Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.

Mrs. Wilkerson was preceded in death by her husband, Fred. R. Wilkerson. She is survived by one sister, Lorene M. Youngblood of Prattville; a daughter, Mary W. Johnson and son-in-law, Manuel H. Johnson of Los Angeles, California; niece, Charlotte Y. Dawkins and a great-nephew, Charles Dawkins, Jr. both of Prattville.

Mrs. Wilkerson was a faithful member of First Baptist Church where she attended the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Prime Timers. She has been a resident of Magnolia Wood Lodge since 1998.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Magnolia Wood Lodge, Wiregrass Hospice or the First Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Marshall H. Johnson, Charles Dawkins, Charles Dawkins, Jr., James Kimball, Tom Collier and Chris Chandler.

Honorary pallbearers will be Martha Baker, Betty Baxter, Ocie Chatmon, Cherie Edwards, Gloria Edwards, Jewel Flowers, Allasya Knox, Natalie Knox, Tammie Knox, Virginia Rogers, Brenda Rumblin, Geraldine Snell, Linda Steele and Mildred Townsend.
