William Henry Hampton

Services for William Henry Hampton, 66, of Glenwood who died August 12, 2003 at Baptist South Medical Center in Montgomery will be at 2 p.m. August 16, 2003 at Clay Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Wilkin Town with Rev. David Boykin officiating.

Burial will be in Clay Hill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Harrison Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. Friday August 15, 2003 at the funeral home.

Mr. Hampton was born November 22, 1936 in Pike County. His

parents were the late Patrick Henry Hampton and the late Eunice McNabb Hampton.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Hampton.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Mary and Eddie Hampton Chaney; son, Willie Hampton; two grandchildren, Eddie Chaney and Eldre Chaney of Rivera Beach, Florida; three sister and husband, Alberta Hardrick of Holyoke, Massachusetts, Mary and Jimmie Sawyer of Montgomery and Pearline McClure of

Troy; brother and his wife, Willie and Willie Pearl Hampton of Glenwood; nephew and his wife, H. Earl and Angela Hampton of Glenwood and several other nieces, nephews, great nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be members of Clay Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Floral Bearers will be friends of the family.

Isaac McWaters

Services for Isaac McWaters, 2,

of Brundidge who died Wednesday August 13, 2003 as a result of an accident will be at 11 a.m. Saturday August 16, 2003 at St. John Baptist Church with Rev. Don Grantham officiating.

Burial will be in St. John Baptist Church Cemetery in Brundidge under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday August 15, 2003 at the funeral home.

Survivors include his parents, Jerry Jr., and Stacy McWaters of Brundidge; sister, Jayme McWaters of Brundidge; grandparents, Faye and Joe Grantham of Jack, Glenda and Glen Dansby of Pittsview and Jerry and Linda McWaters of Brundidge; great-grandparents, Lucille and Jewell D. Grantham of Jack and several uncles, aunts and other close relatives.

Dimario &uot;Preacher&uot; Simmons

Funeral services for Dimario &uot;Preacher&uot; Simmons age 15 who died Tuesday at his residence will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Missionary Baptist Church in Goshen, Pastor Jonas Rodgers and Rev. John Bryan officiating. Burial will be at the Bethel A.M.E. Cemetery in Goshen under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home of Troy. Visitation will be Friday at noon at the funeral home. Remains will lie in state at the church an hour prior to the funeral service.

Preacher’s precious memories will always be cherished by his loving and caring family: mother, Linder Foster and devoted step father Charles Foster of Goshen; Father James (Alene) Simmons of Pell City; sister, Shermeka Cowart of Birmingham; brother, Derek Simmons of Goshen; devoted grandmother, Alice Mae Cowart of Goshen; niece, Kamiyah Burks of Birmingham; eight aunts, Lillie (Ray) Crawford, Laura (James) Morris, Lorraine (Frank) Willis, Lessie (Richard), Lisa (Tim) Brown, Lavonne Cowart, Janita Flanning Davis and Catherine Cowart; six uncles, Leon (Ronester) Cowart, Larry Simmons, Jerry Simmons, Cardell Brown, Fred (Joann) Cowart, Jr. and Jessie (Pearl) Cowart. Surviving great aunts and uncles include Pearl Kelly of Goshen, Jannie Seymore of Georgia, Eddie L. Gillis of Indiana, Willie F. Shipman of Georgia, Versia McRae of Enterprise and Lillie West (Will Fleming, Jr.) of Enterprise; great-great-aunts and uncles L. B. Spigner (Jean) of Georgia, Mae F. Mc Grady of Indiana and Mattie J. Iris of Union Springs, step sisters and step brothers, B. J., Bryan, Santana, Nikia, Liquilla and Anterio; special family and friends, Vallie Mae Foster and Mary Lee Foster and Tasha Adkinson; devoted friend, Nykeea Keon Stirkens and several other close relatives and good friends.
