Good morning and good Tuesday! We've had another busy week in and around Pike County.

Although the rain Saturday put a damper on Brundidge Trade Day, there was a wide variety of arts and crafts available and festival-goers had plenty to do.

Through the generosity of several Pike county businesses, clubs and individuals, three Pike Activity Center clients will get a taste of summer camp next month. Camp ASCCA is a special-needs camp that offers a one-week traditional camp program tailored for the special circumstances of their campers.

The Beta Iota chapter of Phi Gamma Nu, a business fraternity at Troy State, donated some 2,700 items to the Red Cross. It's a good thing to see college students step in to find needs and fill them.

New Life Christian Academy students took their faith public Thursday on the Square for the National Day of Prayer.

Charles Henderson High School's Library Club launched an effort to shore up lagging state funds with a recycling drive to provide a new digital camera for school projects. That's a great example of students taking an active role in their own education.
