Troy Alarm, owned and operated by Jimmy Jordan, is located on 115 N. Three Notch St.

Jordan started the business in 1987 to supplement his T.V. repair business, but Troy Alarm has quickly grown into his main focus.

Jordan said that Troy Alarm offers a variety of home security solutions to its customers. They offer home and business security systems, twenty-four monitoring via CCTV (close circuit television) and intercom systems. &uot;We try to customize each system to match each customer’s needs and price range,&uot; Jordan said. Estimates are free, so customers can set up an appointment to determine which system is the right choice.

Jordan said that installation is quick. &uot;The whole process takes just two days at the most if we get full access to the house,&uot; he said.

For people planning on building a home, Troy Alarm can also pre-wire a home for a security system. Jordan said pre-wiring makes the installation of a security system much easier.

&uot;If the home is pre-wired we won’t have to go in their knock holes in walls,&uot; he said.

Jordan said that planning for a home security system is an important part of building a new home.
