State University.

The gathering, which centers on food and tradition, offers an opportunity for

people of different backgrounds and cultures to gather, to share and to learn

from and with each other. Only about 200 lucky ticketholders will take part in the event, but those who do will have an experience to treasure.

The festival offers a chance to meet at the traditional table of peace – the

dinner table – for fellowship and friendship. As participants ‘break bread’

with friends old and new, they will break down barriers of prejudice and of ignorance.

And, hopefully, they will gain a greater understanding of other people, other cultures. And that understanding could help promote the peace we all long for in our world.
