Fletcher Crawford, 46, of Columbia, S.C. died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001 at Duke University Medical Center.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Troy with the Rev. Dr. L.C. McMillian officiating. Burial will be held at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church with Harrison Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Crawford was born April 22, 1955 in Pike County to Shelby Crawford and the late Hazel Lee Shy Crawford. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps and was employed at American Standard. Mr. Crawford was a member of Union Baptist Church in Bordertown, N.J.

Survivors include his wife, Annie R. Crawford; a daughter Tara Crawford; his father, Shelby Crawford; three sisters, Bonnie Crawford, Belinda Faison and Dorathy Anderson; one brother, Willie Ray Crawford; his mother-in-law, Annie Laura Jackson; stepmother, Lillie Crawford; six sisters-in-law, Mattie Robinson, Jeanette Jackson, Mary Ann Tolbert, Sue Jackson, Lillie Rea Crawford and Dorothy Jackson; three brothers-in-law, Jimmy Jackson, Vester Jackson, the Rev. Bobby Faison and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from noon-6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at Harrison Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

Sandra Carol Peterson

Sandra Carol Peterson, 51, of Louisville, Ky., died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001 at Baptist Hospital East.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at Pearson’s Funeral Home, 149 Breckenridge Lane in Louisville with Pearson’s Funeral Home directing. Burial will be held at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.

Mrs. Peterson was a native of Troy, a teacher with the Second Presbyterian Church Weekday School and a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Schneidtmiller and Stacey Pearson; a son Todd Peterson; a sister, Martha Tolbert; three brothers, Gary, Dave and Larry Pruitt.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
