J.C. Boothe, 79, of Opp died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000 at his residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 27, 2000 at Wyatt Funeral Home in Opp with the Revs. David Franklin and Steve Winton officiating. Burial will be at Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens in Opp with Wyatt Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Boothe was born Dec. 18, 1920 in Coffee County. He was a retired salesman.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Boothe of Opp; two sons and daughters-in-law, Alan C. and Anne Boothe of Troy, Gene and Peb Boothe of Troy; twin brother, T.J. Boothe of Opp; grandchildren, Jason Boothe and Kevin Boothe, both of Troy, Shana B. Johnson of Notasulga, Melissa B. Richardson of Birmingham and April B. Walden of Dothan; and one great-grandchild, Preston Tyler Johnson of Notasulga.
Memorial contributions may be made to Troy State University Foundation, Adams Administration Building, Troy, Alabama 36082 or Wiregrass Hospice of Andalusia.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26 at Wyatt Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jason Boothe, Kevin Boothe, Creel Richardson III, Craig Walden, John Deloney, Dr. Steve Boothe, Wyman Hamm and Ray Jackson.
Colleene Wesley King
Colleene Wesley King, 86, of the Corinth Community died Friday, Oct. 13, 2000 at her home.
Services were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000 at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Cary Sanders and Dr. Thom Rainer officiating. Burial was at Ramah Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home of Union Springs directing.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Arthur Clyde and Nell King of the Corinth Community; three grandchildren: Nellie Jo Rainer of Louisville, Ky., Arthur Clyde King Jr. of Statesville, N.C. and Stacey Rich of Columbia, Tenn.; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice Flowers of Brundidge and Bula Mae DiJulio of Laurel, Md.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Clyde King.

Visitation was from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
Debra Wheeler
Debra Wheeler, 37, of Brundidge died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000.
Services will be at 2p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. K.D. Marsh and Bishop Carl McComb officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery with Bell’s Liptrot/Dawson Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service.
