Mary D. Williams

Mary D. Williams, 41, of Lawton, Okla., formerly of China Grove, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2000 at her residence.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000 at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in China Grove with the Rev. J.E. Calhoun. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery with George F. Grubbs directing.

She was born Dec. 29, 1958 in Troy to J.T. and Hattie Harvis. She was a 1997 graduate of Goshen High School.

She was an independent contractor for Showcase Realty as a licensed agent. After continuing her education, she became owner and broker of Professionals Real Estate Agency. She was a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Lawton Board of Realtors.

Since 1990, she has worshipped and was a part of the Frontier Chapel Center at Fort Sill. She was founder of the youth ministry program, sang in the choir and served as a member of the Usher Board, Sisters Abiding in Christ and Parrish Council.

Survivors include her husband, David Williams; two daughters, Shalunder Williams and Katrina Williams, both of Lawton; her parents, J.T. and Hattie Harvis of China Grove; two sisters, Darlene White and her husband, James, and Callie Starks and her husband, Walter, of Springhill; two brothers, Cleven Harvis and his wife, Faye of Montgomery and J.T. Harvis Jr. and his wife, Icephine of Toledo, Ohio; her father and mother-in-law, David and Robbie Williams of Troy; two brothers-in-law, Larry Williams and his wife, Roberstine of Lawton, Chris WIlliams and his wife, Sandra of Troy; three sisters-in-law: Lorri Toles and her husband, Norris of Montgomery, Anita Williams and her husband, Ken of Dothan and Lina McBride of Troy; 11 nephews; two nieces and a host of other family, friends and associates.
