Lillian Dubose Amos, 87, of Troy died Wednesday, July 5, 2000 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. July 7, 2000 at the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Revs. Mack Lowery and Paul Kendrick officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Park in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: William W. and Ann Amos of Charleston, S.C., Joel and Linda Amos of Troy and Michael R. and Carol Amos of Troy; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Amos and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Perry M. Dubose.

Pallbearers will be Chris Amos, Michael Amos, Steve Barron, Bob Bedsole, Phil Bedsole and Jerry Renfroe.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 6 from 6-8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Valley Mae Jinright Barr

Valley Mae Jinright Barr, 78, of Troy died Sunday, July 2, 2000 at Pike Manor.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2000 at the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Revs. Robert P. Barr, Dean Vonfeldt and Clifford Mathews officiating. Burial will be at Enon Cemetery in Josie with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Marie (Larry) Vonfeldt of Troy and Regina Hartzog of Troy; four sons and daughters-in-law, Buren (Rebecca) Barr of Montgomery, Morris (Carolyn) Barr of Phenix City, Adrian (Sharon) Barr of Troy and the Rev. Robert P. (Sheila) Barr of Chickasaw; one brother and his wife, J.P (Ruth) Jinright of Troy; sister-in-law, Ila Jinright of Columbus, Ga.;16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, D. B. Barr and a grandson, Tim Barr.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Northside Baptist Church.

Visitation was Tuesday at Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Memorial contributions may be made to Northside Baptist Church.
