Brenda Kay Snell Doucet, 57, of Manchester, Ga., died Monday, May 22, 2000, at the Medical Center Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m., on Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at the McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Father Thack Dyson officiating.

Survivors include a husband, Richard Glenn Doucet of Manchester, Ga.; one daughter, Lisa Doucet-Nonnenmann and son-in-law, Chris, of Troy; one sister, Ellen Snell Pilgreen of Columbus; two grandchildren, Richard Charles Nonnenmann and Zachary Joseph Nonnenman, both of Troy; a nephew, Kevin Michael Pilgreen of Columbus.

She was born on September 25, 1942, in Columbus, Ga., the daughter of the late Leonard Eugene Snell and Mildred Frances Colbert Snell. She was a secretary for Mountain View Elementary School in Manchester, Ga. She graduated from Jordan High School and was a member of Sherwood United Presbyterian Church of Columbus.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus County Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.

Thomas Gilbert Kelly

Thomas Gilbert Kelly, 86, of Troy, died on Monday, May 22, 2000, at his home.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, May 25, 2000, at the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Revs. Floyd Nobles and Hugh Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery in Troy with Dillard Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Lela Kelly of Troy; one daughter and son-in-law, Delores K. and Don Lilly of Brundidge; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Linda Kelly of Montgomery, and James and Mable Anderson of Troy; one brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Kathline Kelly of Midway; three sisters, Mary Evelyn Holiday of Troy, Margaret Furqueron of Ozark, and Faye Warren of Bay Minette; six grandchildren, Sandra Green, Bubba Kelly, Millie Nunnelee, Christy Anderson, Rodney Anderson, and Jason Nunnelee; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers for the funeral will be: Bubba Kelly, Lamar Kelly Jr., Claude Kelly, George Furqueron, Randy Kelly, Thomas Kelly, Jason Nunnelee, and Jimmy Warren.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Wednesday, May 24, 2000, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity or the Mt. Olive Church of Christ.

Irma Lee Carter

Irma Lee Carter, 87, of Montgomery, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2000, in a local hospital.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2000, at Leak Memory Chapel. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery with Leak Memory Chapel of Montgomery directing.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Stern Green and Richard Green of Boston, Md.; one sister and brother-in-law, Henrietta Carter Farris and Ronald C. Farris of Montgomery; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a beloved niece, Ewell Nave of Montgomery; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaston L. Stern.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
