James Harold Anderson, 76, died Thursday, May 4, 2000 at his home in Brundidge.

The service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2000 at Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge wiht the Revs. Mack Lowery and Talmadge Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Bragg Anderson; three children, Glen (Paula) Anderson of Dothan, Peggy (Phillip) Barbaree of Troy, and Janice (Edward) Robinson of Brundidge; seven grandchildren, Phyllis( Tim) Swindall, Pamela (Lawrence) Johnston, Perry Barbaree, David Stallings, Molly (David) Jones, Casey Anderson; three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Zeb, and Kaitlin Swindall; four sisters, Ethma Connell of Troy, Nannette Williams of Brundidge, Joyce (Randal) Senn of Childersburg, and Linda (Dr. James C.) Brantley of Troy; two brothers, Carvel (Evelyn) Anderson of Troy and Pat (Becky) Anderson of Troy.

He was preceded in death by parents, Ivey and Myrtle Anderson and two brothers, Thomas Anderson and Max Anderson.

Pallbearers will be the Pike County Sheriff’s Department.

The family will accept flowers and donations can be made to Wiregrass Hospice or the Alabama Boys Sheriff’s Ranch.
