The No. 3 ranked Charles Henderson High School softball team picked up a huge 9-3 win over Section 2 rival No. 5 ranked Eufaula Thursday.

Ace pitcher Betsy White tossed a one-hitter to pick up the win while striking out nine. She is now 19-4 on the season.

While the EHS batters were struggling at the plate, the Lady Trojans were batting around and pounded out 14 hits against Kristin Howard.

Nicki Wingard and Ashley Faust both went 3-for-4 in the game while CHHS got a 2-for-4 showing out of Elizabeth Roundtree and Christie Bradley.

The win puts the Lady Trojans record at 22-6 on the year with only eight more regularly scheduled games before the sectional Tournament which will be held on May 12 and 13.
