Bruce Javaris McNair, 16, of 109 Hillside Drive died Saturday, April 8 at the Edge Regional Medical Center.

His funeral will be at 3 p.m., Thursday, April 13 at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Troy with the Rev. L. C. McMillian presiding. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Harrison Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Survivors include parents, Bruce and Traci McNair; sisters, Brittany Latoya McNair and Koshka Wright; brother, Juewaynza McNair; grandmothers, Minnie (Willie) Cannon Carter, Gussie McNair;

grandfather, William Jones; great-grandmother, Ethel Bean; uncles, Jessie Dixon, Rodney Foster, Jeffery (Janice) Dixon, Fredrick McNair, Darryl Foster, Denzler McNair; aunts, Michelle (Willie) Byrd, Barbara Fenn, Phyllis (Joe) Leverette, Patricia Foster, Carolyn E. Wright, Annie J. McMair, Alberta J. McNair; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was born on March 29, 1984 in Pike County to Bruce and Tracy Dixon McNair. He attended Charles Henderson High School and was a student. He attended Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Troy.

The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to service from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church.
