Mattie Ree Woods, 69, of 125 Daisy Court in Troy died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 9 at George F. Grubbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James W. Felton presiding. Burial will follow at Arlena Cemetery in Highland Home.

Survivors include daughters, Denise (Willie Frank) Moss of Troy, Jeanette (Larry) Neal Fair of Sherman, Miss., Juanita Woods of Troy; son, Ronald Edward Woods of Racine, Wisconsin; sisters, Mary Dean Moore of Indiana, Nellie (Steve) Oates of Racine, Wisconsin; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Floralbearers will be friends of the family.

She was born on Jan. 28, 1931 in Crenshaw County to the late Dave and Mary Williams. She attended Crenshaw County Public Schools. She was a housewife.

William Junior Hagan

William Junior Hagan, 77, of Brundidge died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000 at his home following a long illness.

The funeral was at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5 at Skeen Funeral Home in Brundidge with the Dr. Malone Chandler presiding. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Survivors include wife, Gertrude Hagan of Brundidge; sisters-in-law, Frances Anderson of Brundidge, Dorothy Bragg of Phenix City; sisters, Vernon Shiver of Brundidge, Bertrice Cotter of Enterprise, several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Glen Anderson, Mike Bragg, Larry Hagan, Phillip Barbaree, R. A. Goodson, John Bragg and Gene Bragg.

Visitation was held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5 at Skeen Funeral Home in Brundidge.
