Hubert Bundy

Hubert Bundy, 75, of Jack died Monday, August 9, 1999, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 11, 1999, at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Mayo and Rev. Ray Stinson officiating and Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Clyde Bundy of Jack; one daughter and son-in-law, Eurtis and Clarence Boswell of Luverne; two sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Tawanna Bundy, of Pinckard and Collon and Martha Joe Bundy of Brundidge; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Erma Nell and Jack Kindrick of Wilkinstown; Bernell and Oscar Hartley of Jack; Selma and Grady Boutwell of Phenix City; one brother, Richard Lankford Bundy of Jack; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held between 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, August 10, 1999, at Skeen Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Mary Alice Locklar

Mary Alice Locklar, 94, of Troy died Saturday, August 7, 1999 at Edge Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 9, 1999, at the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy with Rev. Wayne Locklar and Rev. Otis Derrah officiating. Burial followed in Green Hills Memorial Park, Highway 29, with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie R. Locklar; two brothers, Omer and Cary Locklar; and two sisters, Verbie Lee Locklar and Annie Locklar Farris.

Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jewel Hughes of Enterprise and Sara E. and Edgar Hughes of Enterprise; sister-in-law, Mary Frances Locklar of Troy; nine nieces and nephews, four special great-nieces; Julianne, Meredith, Whitney and Cameron Locklar, several other great nieces and nephews whom she also loved a lot; several great-great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Gerald Hughes, Harrison Hughes, Jerry Hughes, Wendell Hughes, Carlton Locklar and Titus Walters.

Visitation was held between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., Sunday, August 8, 1999 at Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.
