Sounds like the administrators were focusing too much on uniforms other than reaching their annual goals! Way to go Pike County Schools!

No one seems to know the answer to my question about the ambulence situation and closing of the road in China Grove. It was okay several years ago when the Dean's children were still young and riding 4-wheelers but now that they are all grown and moved away, they want to close the road. Their children used to have the road so rutted up, you couldn't even drive through there.

I am just wondering how the closing of County Road 7704 will affect the residents that live on the other end if an ambulence needs to get to them? Homer Wright is going to loose alot of votes if he closes that road! I heard that the only reason that the Deans are wanting it closed is because they don't want horses and 4-wheelers riding on it. They sure don't mind them riding in the China Grove parade though do they? The man who owns the other side of the dirt road I believe isn't even from China Grove. He lives somewhere else!

The blacks get anything they want. They have more rights than whites do so I don't know what else Obama can do for them like they are thinking. Like you said bdhs4, if a black applies for a job that a white wants, the black gets it. They get scholarships to college because they are black, I mean what else do they want. The white people of this day and age suffer for what our ancestors did. That is what I call diverse discrimination. I for one, have not ever owned a slave but I am supposed to bow down to the blacks because they have been done so wrong! NOT!

I agree with Ob22 for the most part also. Definitely about the after school programs etc... being cut out along with jobs, increase in classroom sizes. It is definitely going to hurt the children.

Well said Listentome. People like Jack have no business in this conversation anyway because it is obvious that they don't care about our education system. People with Jack's attitude are the very ones with the children who cause so many behavior problems in school because they are taught to have no respect for their teachers. Pathetic!!

There have been over 1000 illegal registered voters found in the state of AL alone, all voting for the democratic ticket. They have also said that nothing will be done about this until after the election. What has happened to this country? "by the book"... why would a Republican send a form with "Democrat" checked???? Duh! I am not slandering Obama. Slander is giving false information. These are facts that I am stating. It is "HIS" party who is committing these illegal acts. He is obviously justifying it. He is not to be trusted. Is that who we want running our country.

Bright started the attacks after promising he would not. Love is simply defending his character. He IS a Christian man and not ashamed to say he is! We need more like him running for office to turn this country around!
