Robert Cowan is an incredible pianist. It is a shame the kids at all of the schools won't be able to see him. Maybe TAC can have him back on a weekend.

"Often times when a pastor resigns people just think that something has happen within the fellowship of the Church..."

Huh? What are you talking about? Did anybody say anything about something happening? Why would you assume people would think there was some sort of controversy about his leaving? From what people have told me, Brother Bo is the LAST person who would be involved in anything controversial. Why would you even suggest people would assume such a thing?!

So you really were raised in a septic tank. That was actually my initial guess. Thanks for the confirmation.

And don't tell me about being poor. I grew up in a cinder block house with no heat and a yard that you had to sweep with a sage broom. But I didn't let that stop me from studying hard, going in the Army to raise money for college, eating Ramen noodles and living in a roach infested trailer in college, and getting my degree.

Sorry, I know times is hard, but I have very little sympathy for people who live in a perpetual, self-inflicted spiral, who keep asking for more and more help only to never try to help themselves because they "deserve" to be taken care of. Give me a break.

How about being a responsible human being and thinking about the consequences of your actions instead of thinking you can do whatever you want because everybody else will take care of your screw-ups?

I think the incidents like those in Andalusia make people a little more cynical about the purity and trust of people, Pastor Dave. Dogs do not have a choice and only act on instinct...people have choices.

However people are certainly more important than dogs in all our eyes!! Well at least in the minds of most people...maybe not in the minds of some animals like the pastor from Andalusia...

Thank you to all for being a part of this. I was coming home from Enterprise one Saturday morning and there was a small puppy in the road in Springhill near the Exxon station. I pulled my car over and stopped traffic (including a semi) to pick him up and put him down on the other side of the road. Nobody seemed to mind and I think they all would have done the same thing (at least I hope)...anyway... I don't know who the owners were or how he ever turned out, but I had to do it...it really breaks my heart to see a defenseless animal scared to death in the middle of the road like that. I don't see how any decent human being could turn away from that.

Man did that postive article ever get run into the dirt. I go away for a couple of days and come back to find the forum...well pretty much has not changed.

Anyway, thanks Bear and Levi and all of the other players for all you do and the example you set. Yeah there are bad apples in every bunch, but you guys have always been nothing but class acts. Thank you for giving back to the community and being all around great guys.
