Volunteer fire departments have and will assit Troy fire department in times of need and everyone in the county uses the county roads, as it stands i will vote no. as far as i'm concerned everyone or no in the county one should be taxed.

I believe another reason for wrecks in all of Alabama, not just pike county is people not using their turn signals when turning or changing lanes. This is against the law and is a ticketable offense. I see this all the time when driving from Banks to work on Fort Rucker. This includes state troopers they speed without blue lights on, and change lanes without a thought of using the turn signal. They should use turn signals and lead by example. Start writing tickets for THAT and save lives and make a ton of money for the state.

They want to increase my taxes everytime i turn around and then they want me to loyally shop at home. i earn my money in Dale county so i will spend it where it best benefits me. a little loyalty to the pike county citizens would be nice.
