Strange that they used the term off the streets when they most certainly are not. I see 2 of them almost daily. That is one of the problems with our justice system. Anyone with that many counts against them should not be eligible for bail.

This is real bad news. The combination of quality and price at Goody's can not be matched by any other store around here. Walmart is slowly killing off the competition.

Brooks and Anthony Barr have the same charges except that she had endangerment also. He as a male got 20 years with some probation and she got a deferred sentence???? Maybe I don't understand deferred sentence.
I also do not understand how anyone with 11 felony convictions is still on the street. Judge Barr did the right thing on that one.
What is so sad to me is the fact that I know so many of these people. I feel sadness for their families.

All you dummies trashing Coach Blakeney need to remember that although Southern Miss was 6-6, they consistently have a team that the Alabamas and Auburns dread to play. They were also a SEC team years ago. You also need to remember that he is in the HOF and is the winningest coach Troy has ever had. If there were some mistakes made, so what? He does not hands on call every play. He is the reason we even got to Div 1 and a bowl game. The program is on the rise and he has carried it on his shoulders. The very ones criticizing on here probably never played football on any level other than Peewee. If you can do better, you should get a coaching job. If not, then Shut Yo Mouth. After all, this is just a ball game.
Remember what Jesus said, " Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."

Many people have seen Bigfoot in that area as well as the Walnut Creek monster but nobody talks about it because of what others will think of them.
Congratulations to Mrs. Ellis.

Simple solution - Let the big oil companies bail them out because without the vehicles the demand for gas plummets along with the price and their enormous profits.

A big push for Care would not come without financial or other rewards for the pushers. The rotation method is currently used for wrecker service. Why can't it be used here? We should split the contract and use rotation. If you requested one or the other you would get them. If not you would get the rotation choice. This would satisfy the people of Pike County and not just a few individuals.

A fine young man with Christian beliefs and parents. Kim and Ron, my prayers are with you and Alex. As a cancer survivor, I know first hand that the treatments are hard to endure. My best to you Alex.

You all need to read my first comment and think about the employees these 2 fired to protect their scheme. No matter how nice they were to you they are common theives and apparently were dumb enough to think they wouldn't get caught. It is also apparent that they did not care about the hurt and embarrassment they caused their friends and family. I, for one do not feel sorry for them. If they had an addiction that caused them to steal, maybe I could.

What does McAliley mean by "We have him located and efforts are being made to get him in custody"? Sounds like he has fled the county or maybe the state. Just go get him. It shouldn't be that hard. This guy is not now or ever has been very smart.
