This can't be much of a problem because if you check the poll only 9 people say they have been booted yet 50 say they have never been booted . Seems as if this is a case of making a mountain out of a molehill.

I've never smoked pot nor ever intend to but would some of you who from what you write have or do smoke it please tell me why you do so . I guess I'm a freak because I don't have to have that cup of coffee ,a cigarette nor a snort of alcohol in order to begin my day . I have yet to see ANY problem solved by the use of pot or alcohol , so what is the point of smoking it or using any illegal drug ?? Can't you enjoy life without having to have a crutch to make it through .

Linden , I just checked a medical book put out by the American Medical Assoc. and it list marijuana as a drug . It states that it causes mood swings , causes lack of physical coordination, lethargy and sometimes nausea. Long term physical effects include brain , lung and reproductive system damage. Also decreased motivation . It determines a drug is any non-nutritional chemical substance that can be absorbed into the body . Sorry but you have a long way to go to convince me otherwise .

Why should there be another source other than Sheriff Thomas? He was doing exactly what he was elected to do . DRUGS are illegal, therefore you smoke one joint , you have broke the law . Simple , you don't even have to go to college to understand that .
To Palin2012 , you prove a point by stating you attended Troy U. for four years without drinking , using drugs , etc. That takes character, whereas using simply because others do means you just follow blindly.Congratulations.

Frankly I just can't get enthused over Twitter or any of the other sites . I prefer e-mail , texting or just old fashioned face to face conversations . As was brought out by Holli , way to much useless info is put on Twitter and it is BORING . All in all I think the sites are worthless.

Bluntly put I have no sympathy what so ever for anyone who uses any illegal drug , whether they are college students , doctors or whatever, Alcohol is legal even though I oppose it also . I don't want to be around people high on drugs or alcohol and facing drunks is bad enough on the highway without adding someone on drugs too . As for the sheriff being the only one to present their side of the story the user has no side . What they are doing is illegal and it doesn't make puffing a joint at a party any less so . I see you or anyone using I will report you PERIOD.
