listentome,
The Messenger article did say Thursday. I called to confirm the time so I could be there. The lady in the Circuit Clerk's office said HAHA. The trial had started about forty minutes before I called. I was not happy. I wanted to see Berry squirm!!

I find it hard to believe that in five years someone did not notice emotional and physical signs of abuse. Who did this child live with? They are not very observant. Most children show definite signs of any kind of abuse. I also wonder why her teachers did not pick up on something.

Being an educator is a very important job and I don't think all educators take it as seriously as they should. She really didn't take it seriously. The sad thing is, she could have made more money in the business world and the children would have been better off.

I taught in Pike County years ago, and it is heartbreaking that the things that were happening then are still happening now because she is still there. The children have definitely not received the help they are due by federal law. They receive services according to Karen Berry law. She is not concerned about children. There were many lawsuits when I was there and she always lost because she did not know protocol, so it was never followed. The county had to pay out a lot of money because of incompetent people.

How did this woman ever get elected? Have the citizens of Pike County not noticed that she is incompetent at her job with the BOE, so what makes you think she can fulfill a government job? Karen Berry's integrity is nonexsistent. Come on people!

She would be out there fulfilling her duties as the special education director. She sucks at that. No pun intended. I'm surprised that you never heard about their dedication to the education of children in Pike County. I have not lived at home for almost eighteen years, but I feel that I still live in Troy through The Troy Messenger online and the wonderful comments from all of you wonderful people!

Bazzell and Berry (Karen) were having after school detention out there at Banks for years and what happened? He is now in charge and she is still around too. She has even spilled over into the county government. Why are they still around?
