Keith Blankenship was treated to a retirement luncheon at the Pioneer Museum of Alabama on Thursday. He and his wife, Shirley, have operated the museum gift shop for two years. Blankenship was a volunteer at the museum for more than eight years before taking over the operation of the gift shop. Blankenship’s last official day will be Sept. 30. On October 1, he will tee off on retirement at the Brundidge Country Club.
